pC Performer is an app that allows you to scan your PC forregistry errors and fix any that are found to maintain your PC's performance.
Registry Scan
When you first run PC Performer, it will scan your Windows registry and then list the errors it finds. You can read more about each error and open a log of the results to see greater detail. In the error log you can uncheck any errors you don't want to fix, and export the log file for your records if necessary. You can only fix 15 errors for free - if you want to fix them all you'll have to upgrade.
Features
When you fix errors with PC Performer, it automatically backs up the Windows Registry in case there are any problems. You can also defrag the registry. In settings you can choose the areas of your computer that PC Performer will scan and fix, set exclusions, and most usefully setup an automatic schedule. Note that PC Performer will start automatically unless you un-check the check box at the bottom of the settings dialog.
PC Performer does it's job well although it isn't much different from similar products that do the job equally well such as Uniblue'sRegistryBooster.
Overall
PC Performer is a slick and quick registry cleaning app, with an easy to understand interface and detailed reports. However, it could be improved with extra cleaning tools for application caches and histories likeCCleaneror Glary Utilities.
